Engaging, Entertaining, Educating
Littlest Big Band performances feature songs you know, with music that is never too loud as they take their audiences on musical journeys to the times of big bands, family shows, and singalongs around the radio. With a touch of Elvis, Hank and Tennessee Ernie, music lovers are treated to a wide selection of musical styles.
"[Littlest Big Band] put on such a wonderful show--the best act
we've ever had at our community. Our residents loved you!"
--Janell Hooper, Activities Director
Arbor House, Marble Falls, TX
Playing guitars and mandolin, Bob Farley and Lynn Perdzock give songs even more relevance to listeners by putting them into stories or themes, highlighting movies, places, or events unique to each tune. Their fresh arrangements make the songs feel new and yet recognizable.

Most shows run 55 to 60 minutes, but can be as short as 30 minutes or as long as three hours. And when the performance is over, Lynn and Bob--who are both fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus--enjoy spending a little time visiting with audience members.

Over the years, Littlest Big Band has become a favorite performer of American Standards music, regularly playing more than 200 shows a year since 2012. Message Lynn today to schedule the duo for your events!
PRICING for live nursing home and assisted/independent/memory care community shows is designed to make our performances affordable to as many communities as possible. Whatever the budget, we do the best we can to be able to share the enjoyment only live music can bring.

We also provide discounts in the following three situations when a community can: (1) book multiple shows through the year, (2) book two or more shows in different areas of the same community on the same day, and (3) book a morning or evening time so we can schedule more performances in a day. That last one is especially helpful in defraying our room and board costs when traveling.

Additionally, Bob performs a solo show of the same great music for a reduced fee.

"Bob Farley engages my residents with his array of songs from various time periods and genres. They leave his performances with smiles and requests to have him back soon."
--Linda Shaver, (former) Life Enrichment Director
The Woodlands of Middletown, Middletown, OH

And, Bob and Lynn are both registered vendors with many national care-giving organizations, thus making the paperwork trail much easier to navigate.

Show Themes
Themes allow Littlest Big Band to highlight different aspects of the tunes they sing, giving listeners a fresh take on the songs they've heard all their lives.

Tunes from the Top Hat
In this program, we literally pick songs from out of a hat, and once COVID is under control, it becomes a super-interactive theme where audience members can pick the songs!

"The interactive picking of songs is great! What a feel good program!
--Karen Haverland, Activities Director
10 Wilmington Place, Dayton, OH
The Route 66 Show
route 66 sign This show focuses on Route 66, from its beginning as a collection of military trails of the 1850s, to its official designation in 1926, to its decommissioning in 1985. A lot of things happened during those years and a lot of songs were sung. It's a story that touches almost everyone.

Dean, Doris, and Frank
Beloved songs were often sung by beloved singers, and it's hard to find a more accomplished threesome than Doris Day, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra. Altogether, these singers recorded more than 2,000 songs. Get a sense of the times and places each singer lived and worked in as you sing along with unforgettable tunes like "That's Amore," "Sentimental Journey," and "High Hopes."

Sock Hop/50's Jukebox
As our audiences get younger, tastes in music change, and so we are adapting our music to include more of the 1950s and 1960s, and even some 1970s and '80s. The 1950s and 60s era of the sock hop is especially popular, so this set features more Elvis and Everly Brothers, with still a few visits from the ever popular Sinatra, Dino, and Hank Sr.

Songs on the Big Screen
Casablanca poster space cowboys Songs often help tell the stories in movies, and many of the standards, with their rich lyrics and timeless melodies, continue to be used to do that. Tunes like "As Time Goes By" become part of the memory of Casablanca, while movies like Space Cowboys benefit from the timelessness of "Fly Me to the Moon."

Traveling Tunes
Places and how to get to them are the meat of this show, from walking to bicycling to cars, trains, planes, and boats, the cities and countries and even planets.

The Splendor of Love
Most songs are about some aspect of love, so it's an easy matter to develop a setlist of love songs for Valentine's Day, Mother's and Father's Day, Grandparent's Day...you get the idea. Lynn and Bob like to feature them the whole month of February.

By the Numbers (or the Letters)
Going through the songs by date or by the alphabet is an interesting way to show off the tunes and the decades they were written and performed.

Christmas Classics
A show that features songs you love to hear during the Christmas season. Deck the Halls, Silver Bells, Rocking Around the Christmas Tree, Jingle Bells, The Christmas Song (The Chestnuts Roasting song), White Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and more.

"[Littlest Big Band] was captivating!"

Vista Village, New Braunfels, TX
